Bulls prevailed today’s trade on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. Of 110 issues traded, 73 ended the day in the green, and only 26 were in the red.

Indexes were also influenced by the market’s bustle with BG40 up 2.13% to 250.05 points and SOFIX adding 1.89% to 1,255.79 points.

Of the blue chips Chimimport and Albena registered the highest increases up 5.09% and 5.19% respectively to an average of 10.12 leva and 100.05 leva/share.

More than 1 mln shares of Central Cooperative Bank changed hands today at an average price of 7.80 leva/share up 1.17% from yesterday.

The stock of IH Bulgaria added 2.45% to a level of 7.95 leva/share, while Orgachim grew 2.04% to 202.26 leva/share with 63 lots traded.

1,507 shares of Stara Planina Hold gained 3.89% to 39.77 leva/share. Oil & Gas Exploration and Development added 4.72% to 9.55 leva/share.

The only losers from the companies included in SOFIX today were Bulgarian Telecommunication Company and Sopharma which lost 0.46% and 0.56% respectively to levels of 10.80 and 7.13 leva/share.

More than 21,000 shares of Economic and Investment Bank changed hands today at an average price of 110.50 leva/share up 6.35% from the previous session.

After their split announcement announced Wednesday, Elhim Iskra AD-Pazardjik registered another record of 42 leva/share and their average price up 7.17% to 39.19 leva.

Elprom-ZEM and St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding added 7.94% and 6.32% respectively to levels of 20.81 and 36.15 leva/share.

BSE turnover was over 20 mln leva today. BG40 added 1.95% this week, while SOFIX went up 0.86%
