Today (7 May) and on Thursday (10 May) are the deadlines for transactions involving shares of Doverie United Holding and Monbat, as a result of which the holder will be able to exercise their voting rights at the forthcoming general shareholders’ meetings of the companies.

On 23 May the shareholders of Doverie United Holding will vote a proposal to dismiss Oleg Nedyalkov, Ilia Iliev and Andrei Georgiev from their positions as members of the company’s supervisory board and to appoint Radosvet Radev, Ognyan Donev and Ventzislav Stoev in their positions.

The holding’s shareholders will also vote a proposal to distribute the company’s 2006 profit and to increase its investment reserves. Under the proposal the undistributed profit accumulated in 2006 as a result of tax rate corrections amounting to 6,355,66 leva is to be used to cover the 6,894.05 leva loss accumulated during previous reporting periods.

The general meeting will also propose Doverie United Holding’s 2006 profit not to be distributed, where 538.39 leva of it to be used to cover the remaining loss from the 2006 tax rate correction, and the remaining 86,818 leva to be allocated to the company’s investment reserves.

The general meeting of Monbat will vote a proposal to allocate the company’s 2006 profit to the “Reserves” fund. Last year the company registered a net profit of 7.603 mln leva (0.29 leva/share) compared to a profit of 3.441 mln leva (0.18 leva/share) in 2005.

On Wednseday (9 May) Energia AD will hold its general shareholders’ meeting, which is expected to vote a proposal to delist the company from the public companies register.

Also Wednesday is the deadline for transactions involving shares of Eurohold Bulagria, as a result of which investors will be able to take part in the holding’s capital increase. On Tuesday (15 May) the company’s rights will be floated on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, where the ratio between the issued rights and the new shares is 4:1.

On 11 May (Friday) is the deadline for transactions involving shares of Toplivo AD, as a result of which investors will be able to take part in the company’s general shareholders’ meeting.

On 29 May the company’s shareholders will vote a proposal to allocate the 2006 balance profit amounting to 7,088,662 leva to the undistributed profit and not to pay dividends.

Shareholders are also expected to vote a proposal to authorize the board of directors and CEOs of the company to sign contracts with Gas Bulgaria EOOD, Toplivo Serbia – Belgrad and Toplivo Beijing – China with periods from 1 to 3 years for the purchase of LPG, coal and building materials to the total value of 50 mln leva and up to $36 mln resulting in receivables of the company.

Last week SOFIX was down 2.33% to 1,243.89 points, while BG40 lost 2.93% to 245.26 points.
