Most indexed of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed lower in the last day of the week. BG 40 was the biggest decliner on the day shedding 1.37%, to 112.87 points, followed by BG TR30 (-1.11%, to 288.77 points) and SOFIX (-0.58%, to 365.09 points). BG REIT was the only gainer on the day advancing by 0.24%, to 41.51 points.

BSE's overall turnover came close to 8.05 mln leva. Chimimport, along with its subsidiaries and Unipharm accounted for the bulk of the figure. More than 2 mln shares in Holding Varna (-0.70%, to 7.05 leva) traded hands on the day. Trade in Chimimport's common stock came to 311 260 leva. The price of the stock remained unchanged at 2.50 leva per share. SS Konstantine And Elena Holding's stock appreciated by 0.10%, to 10.01 leva per share. The turnover on the position came close to 706,000 leva.

Trading in Galata Investment Company's stock amounted to nearly 241,000 leva after 227,010 shares in the company traded hands. The stock depreociated by 47%.

The turnover on the position of Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria amounted to 991,000 leva after 1.62 shares in the company changed hands. The prices of the stock slipped by 2.87%, to 0.61 leva per share.

Slightly more than 504 000 shares in Unipharm were transferred on the day. The turnover came to 3.32 mln leva.

A total of 62 issues were traded on the day with 17 of the companies posting stock price gains.

Most BSE indexes posted weekly losses of more than 1%. These included SOFIX (-1.24%), BG 40 (-1.33%) and BG TR30 (-1.40%). BG REIT gained 0.24% over the last five days.

The performance of the indexes since the start of the month is as follows: SOFIX (-5.69%), BG 40 (-1.31%), BG REIT (-0.79%) and BG TR30 (-3.66%).

The year-to-date performance of the indexes is as follows: SOFIX (-14.55%), BG 40 (-3.66%), BG REIT (-13.54%) and BG TR30 (-13.76%).
